From $0 to $40,000+ — An Inspiring Ecommerce Empire Builders Review

Empire builders, get ready to absorb some wisdom on how to get started with dropshipping and what it takes to become phenomenally successful. I recently got on a call with one of our Inner Circle members to learn all about his profitable business, which he took from $0 to $40,000 in just three months, and to hear his honest Ecommerce Empire Builders review.

What I love about Quang’s success story is that he’s a humble, hardworking guy with a hunger to learn as much as possible. It’s fantastic to see him executing all the strategies he learned in my flagship Empire Builders Academy course. He’s also taking full advantage of the customized sales funnel we created for him. Quang is well on his way to building an impressive empire, and I think all new ecommerce entrepreneurs can learn from his story. Watch his Ecommerce Empire Builders review and then keep reading for key insights.

Quang’s First Ecommerce Experiences: Trying Things That Didn’t Work

I’m sure most people can relate to how Quang first entered the world of online businesses. Like so many of us, he began dabbling in the traditional dropshipping and ecommerce strategies that you can find all over the internet. He wanted to succeed, and he was willing to put in the work, but that just wasn’t enough. Time and time again, he would have to give up. When Quang came across Clickfunnels a year and a half ago, he said, “Let me try again!” So he downloaded some ebooks, tried to follow their advice step-by-step, and invested his money.

But, Quang emphasized during this Ecommerce Empire Builders review call, he discovered that there are so many things that have to come together in ecommerce before you actually have that winning formula that brings in the sales. You might concentrate on one element, like having good Facebook ads. But then you’ll find you still have weaknesses in five other areas. You focus on your product, but your copywriting is no good. And on it goes. Well, that’s ultimately not going to work. He was spending more money on ads than he could earn in sales. Once again, Quang had to give up.

As I’m always saying, you need the whole package. That’s what’s going to set you apart to sell whatever you want online. A lot of sellers out there will load up on a bunch of products and just hope that something sticks. You need to focus on ONE specific product that sells. Then provide that product with all the elements of persuasive marketing.

How Ecommerce Empire Builders Changed the Game

Screen grab of Peter Pru and Quang talking

Quang joined the Empire Builders Academy towards the end of 2020 and hit the ground running in pursuit of his dropshipping goals. This guy is so determined to succeed that he took the course TWICE in 30 days, just to make sure he understood the material as well as possible. Crucially, Quang also signed up for our Business in a Box services. We provided him with everything he needed to launch his first product, including a customized dropshipping sales funnel that was designed just for him.

During those first 30 days, Quang was also actively researching the niche we picked out for him, following influencers in his market, and seeing what other people were selling. He was learning as much theory as possible during the course. But he also couldn’t wait to get his hands dirty on the day-to-day effort of the business. This success-oriented mindset served him well, and Quang was soon putting his sales funnel in action. He knew he was on the right track when those first sales started rolling in and all the Stripe notifications were blowing up on his phone.

Going From $0 to $40,000+ in Three Months

Quang launched his first product and saw sales right away. So what does he do next? He scaled that puppy up. Quang began growing his business by applying the fundamental principles he learned at Empire Builders Academy. That means testing, testing, and testing his ads to identify the ones that work and testing different interest groups. He was eventually able to scale up his funnel to reach $2,000 of profits a day!

Quang is still learning the ropes. But he was able to hit this sweet spot for about a week before he needed to pull back on his advertising strategy. That’s absolutely phenomenal for a new ecommerce business. He’s still bringing in a healthy $500-$1,000 a day and even expanding to new products.

That initial sales funnel we created for Quang will be the template for much more greatness to come. As we explained to him on our initial kickoff call when he first came to Empire Builders, you can use your customized funnel again and again. Once you get some traction with one product, you can start preparing to launch another one. It’s as simple as changing the core foundational pieces of that funnel and tweaking it to make sense for the next product.

Quang executed this advice beautifully and has already launched his second funnel. He began by researching his competitors in the new niche and learning from them whenever possible. He would even buy their products, take a look at their pages and incorporate any elements that could be useful. More importantly, Quang understands that doing well in this business is about:

  • Constantly testing your process
  • Adapting based on your results
  • Closing the deal on those sales

Building His Empire, One Funnel at a Time

Screen grab of Peter Pru and Quang discussing ecommerce success

During his Ecommerce Empire Builders review call, I asked Quang where he wants to go from here. He said he wants to “push this as much as I can push it.” Well said. That’s the mindset you need to build a million-dollar business, and I have no doubt he can do it. Quang is currently looking into opening a Shopify store to sell subscription products and generate a residual income. But, even as he’s actively managing multiple funnels, he’s planning to focus on one product at a time. You need that kind of concentration just to make sure you’re doing as much as you can and setting up each product for success.

I also talked with Quang about key strategies that can help him make his funnels even more profitable, like adding digital products in the order bumps. These upsells that take place right at the point of checkout are just like those candy bars that entice you when you’re waiting in line at the grocery store. Order bumps can add up to really big bucks and even offset the cost of your advertising.

When Quang reflects on first entering the ecommerce space, he focuses on a combination of two things: not following the right strategies and not having the right tools. With Ecommerce Empire Builders, he now had a professional team helping him build the bones of his business, even down to choosing a niche product for him, designing high-quality Facebook ads, and much more. Sure, you can build your own funnel. But there are a million and one things that have to come together. When you let the pros handle it and create that solid foundation, you can build from there with fantastic results.

I love seeing our students prosper and do big things! This business is not easy. It takes a lot of hard work, and there will always be bumps in the road. But there are also some amazing rewards. I have no doubt that Quang will be back soon n another Ecommerce Empire Builders review to let us know he’s grown his business into a 7-figure empire. Dropshipping With Ecom Cheetah: Find Unlimited $10k/Month Dropshipping Products and Ads

Looking for plenty of winning dropshipping products and ads for your business? Ecom Cheetah makes it easy to locate the perfect dropshipping products, including information products, along with video and image ads created specifically for you. By strengthening your dropshipping with Ecom Cheetah, you’ll be able to get everything you need to fuel your company’s success.

How to Start Thinking About Dropshipping With Ecom Cheetah

Ecom Cheetah isn’t mere software — rather, it’s a comprehensive service that puts together a custom solution designed for your business. Unlike the many simple tools out there, we offer the right combination of uniqueness and existing market. You don’t need to worry about choosing a product for your store only to find that everyone else is selling those same products. Instead, you’ll get products hand-picked for your business. Also, you’ll receive access to validated shippers and a wide variety of other features to set your business apart and drive sales. Want to make sure your business finds what it needs to thrive? You can count on our Ecom Cheetah solution to get your company off the ground.

To ensure this service functions the way it should for your business, we operate on two core values:

  1. We treat your business like our own, giving you the same attention and level of care.
  2. We work as an extension of your team, providing ample talent, tools, and other resources.

The convenience that dropshipping with Ecom Cheetah offers can ultimately allow you to spend more time on growing your business. You can handle customers while we handle the rest.

How Dropshipping with Ecom Cheetah Works

Screen grab of the Ecom Cheetah dashboard

When you first sign up for Ecom Cheetah on our website, you’ll get access to an easy-to-use dashboard. This facilitates simple and effective communication with our team. You can submit requests for different services based on your needs, including products and ads. Also, look forward to the social media images that are soon to be added to this service.

Request Products for Your Business

Once you’re on the dashboard, you may want to start with a request for a product to sell on your platform. In these instances, you would submit a Product Research Request. To start, simply indicate the niche you would like to be in. If you’re not entirely sure which niche you fall under, we include a list of niches to help you identify yours. To make your product selection more specific, you can also choose certain micro-niches that further narrow down the selection.

We can also select products based on what you already sell or have sold in the past. Simply send us the URL for your website, and we’ll identify any gaps that you’re not already filling.

One of the main problems with so many other services and tools is that they simply pick a popular product that everyone else is likely to sell. You won’t have to worry about this with Ecom Cheetah behind your business. Not only do we find the right products for your individual business, but we also work to ensure you stay within your available budget.

We don’t offer instant selections. We take time to select your products and perform the necessary research into products and suppliers. However, we can provide results within 24 hours (and no longer than two to three days). Any further revisions will normally take around one to two days to process.

Get High-Quality Image Ads

Screen grab of how to request an image stack on Ecom Cheet for dropshipping products

Once you’ve received your product suggestions and you’ve approved them, you may want to look for ads to help sell those dropshipping products. From the dashboard, you would then select the Ads Request tab and move it into the Production Queue section.

When requesting an ad, you can specify any text or images you want to include with the ad. Based on this request, we will then search for appropriate lifestyle images that work with the ad. This process ensures that the product looks great throughout the process. What helps set Ecom Cheetah apart here is that, unlike automated services that sloppily put ad images together, we give you access to our team of professional graphic designers who invest time and energy into your ads.

Also, we properly resize and scale each ad based on the specific platform you want to use it for, whether your ads will appear on Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, or others.

Request Professional Video Ads

Along with image ads, we also allow clients to request video ads. To put these ads together, we connect you with a full-time editing team. Our team can create ads based on:

  • Five to seven benefits your product offers
  • Your AliExpress link
  • Existing video content showcasing your products

We’ll also make sure your product looks high-value to provide the best possible presentation with each ad. We also resize ads depending on where you want them displayed and include the CTA for the action you want people to take.

With Ecom Cheetah, you’ll be getting ads that are intended exclusively for dropshipping and ecommerce, which you may not find with those who don’t specialize in this industry.

Find Info Products to Offer

You can also request info products with Private Label Rights (PLRs). We will actually buy and redesign them for your business. We’ll customize ebooks, various templates, and much more with your company’s branding and logos. Don’t have a particular brand image you’re going for? We’ll make sure products are at least unique to your business and of the highest quality.

When requesting info products, all you need to do is let us know the niche you’re in and the specific topics you’d like products to cover. We’ll take care of the rest.

By using these info products, you can provide your email list with nearly endless valuable content that keeps them engaged. You can bundle info products together as upsells to push through your store. They’re also perfect for including in paid subscriptions that provide a consistent revenue stream and help you get the best ROI for these dropshipping products.

Request Offer Stack Images

Your ecommerce store, whether it’s Shopify or another platform, should look as good as possible. Offer stack images are a huge component of that overall visual appeal. We’ll provide you with top-quality offer stack images that serve as cover images for different sections of your site. At this point, we’ll also be familiar with your dropshipping products and branding, enabling us to personalize these graphics for your business.

To supplement your images, you can include any text you’d like to add. This includes the “Total Value” amount of a particular purchase.

Copywriting and Other Services Yet to Come for Dropshipping With Ecom Cheetah

Many people ask if we can actually write the copy for ads ourselves. Although we don’t currently offer this service, we’ll soon be offering copywriting services as part of the Ecom Cheetah solution. In the meantime, we still work to understand your brand’s specific needs. We can custom-code ad copy for you based on your branding.

Apart from copywriting, we also aim to serve as your one-stop-shop for everything ecommerce through other services we’ll soon be offering. These include social media images. Our team will provide you with four to five images — a week’s worth of content for posts — with one request. We will then follow up with another week’s worth of content every week.

In the future, we’ll also be able to write strong headlines, including headlines for ad copy and sales funnels. If you need help with researching shipping agents and more, we’ll be offering research services to help facilitate faster and more convenient shipping. And if you have any questions or want to let us know if anything is missing, we’ll offer support services to take care of these.

Perhaps the most beneficial service for many will be our all-in-one solution, in which we work to understand your brand top to bottom to put together a complete solution. You’ll get dropshipping products, ads, info products, offer stack images, and other content within a single consistent package based on your niche and brand.

Our Dropshipping Support Service Picks Products and Generates Ads

Empire builders, working harder in the new year is a great resolution. But working smarter is even better, which is why we’re currently rolling out Ecom Cheetah. It’s a game-changing new dropshipping support service that can help you grow your ecommerce or dropshipping business faster than ever. I call it a game-changer because this comprehensive service helps you with every aspect of product research and marketing.

Do you need to choose a product, find a supplier, or create some killer advertisements? Ecom Cheetah does it all. This dropshipping support service is actually a way for you to tap into all the wisdom that we’ve accumulated here at Ecommerce Empire Builders over the years.

Working Smarter With Ecom Cheetah

One of the most common things I see with people just getting started in ecommerce, especially with dropshipping, is that they will subscribe to software programs or apps that tell them what products to sell. The problem is this type of software will spit out the same random products to all their clients. You end up competing with thousands of other dropshippers! That’s no way to build a successful business.

At Ecom Cheetah, we handpick dropshipping products for you and curate them to your specific niche. We don’t just provide you with these winning products. We also hook you up with a vetted supplier that has a proven track record.

And that’s just the beginning. Ecom Cheetah is designed to become an extension of your marketing team. Our dropshipping support service includes everything from custom Facebook ads to high-quality digital information products that you can use to bump up the value of your physical products.

Imagine plugging into a system that’s already been built, instead of having to create everything yourself from scratch. That’s the idea behind Ecom Cheetah. We have such a powerful team here at Ecommerce Empire Builders, and we’ve been at it for a long time. That passion for effective direct response marketing techniques is why you won’t have to explain to us how to create a great Facebook ad. The alternative is going out there and hiring a graphic designer on platforms like Fiverr or Upwork. You often end up having to go back and forth with that person to explain exactly what you need. This takes up valuable time and energy.

How to Get Started With Ecom Cheetah

Live tour of the Ecom Cheetah work process

Start by watching the live demo of our Ecom Cheetah interface above, which includes detailed information about its current suite of services. I say “current” because we’re constantly thinking about what else we can do to add more value and make this tool even more indispensable. Right now, we have Winning Products, Winning Facebook Ads, Offer Stack Images, and Info Products.

Your monthly membership gets you an unlimited amount of each of these essential services. You might be asking, ‘Why these services?’ It’s because these are the ones I think everybody wants and needs for a successful ecommerce business, especially if you’re just getting started!

It’s common to be very indecisive about choosing the product for your business. I’ve seen many, many aspiring dropshippers get stuck at this stage. Ecom Cheetah does all the research for you and sets you up for success. Unlike the software that just spits out some random item, this process is highly customized. You answer some questions that will give us an idea of your specific niche. We take it from there to find a unique product for you. But not just one — we actually give you FOUR product options, and you can choose the best one. If you already have an established business with a certain type of product, you can let us know, and we will find something similar. The same goes if you let us know you’re specifically looking for US-based suppliers. We can make it happen.

Winning Ads for a Winning Product

Live demo of how Ecom Cheetah's Ads Request feature works

We all know it’s not just about choosing the right product. It’s about making that product shine. Once you choose your winning product, you can submit it for custom Facebook ad images. Creating Facebook ads is much more of an art than a science. But the Ecommerce Empire Builders team is one of the best.

Our designers have been trained to implement and understand effective ecommerce techniques. We’re getting an average of between 3% and 5% CTR (Click Through Rate) on our Facebook ads. Yes, consistently. And we’ve even been known to cross the 10 percent barrier. Getting these kinds of numbers with your Facebook ads will help people reach your Shopify store, your landing page, or wherever else you’re directing them. When you have a 3-5% CTR on your ads, building a profitable business becomes a lot easier.

Like I said, your Ecom Cheetah membership gives you unlimited access to these tools, including unlimited ads. So why do you need unlimited ads? Because the secret to having phenomenal success with Facebook advertising is having different ad variations and then testing which one works the best. The other issue is that Facebook’s algorithm has a preference for showing its users different kinds of ads.

With unlimited ads, you can experiment, test, and fine-tune the different images that we give you. Once you know which Facebook ads are really working for your business, you can come back to Ecom Cheetah and request variations of the winning ads.

What It Takes for High Perceived Value

Most ecommerce is based on intrusive marketing. That means you need to be able to motivate prospective customers to really want your product. They have to get up, go get their wallet or purse, take out their credit card, and buy from you. That’s really not an easy thing to do. So you have to make sure visitors see a product with a very high perceived value when they click the ad and get to your page. Essentially, they have to see something that’s actually worth their hard-earned money!

This brings us to the final two services on the Ecom Cheetah platform: Offer Stacks and Digital Info Products.

Digital info products are one of the easiest, most effective, and most versatile ways for you to bump up the perceived value of your physical product. Whether it’s a PDF, an ebook, or a different digital file, these info products should be interesting to that prospective customer. Are you selling fishing rods, for example? Your digital info product can be helpful information that will help the customer improve their fishing.

The digital info products technique is very popular for the simple reason that it works very well. But some people can overcomplicate it. For example, they don’t know if they should hire someone on Fiverr to write the info product or buy something pre-made.

That’s why I think that the unlimited Digital Info Products are probably my favorite aspect of Ecom Cheetah. We will buy the information that’s relevant to your product. Then we’ll curate it, edit it, make sure it has a consistent theme, and deliver a high-quality digital info product for you. It’s as simple as that.

Focus on the Offer Stack

Once you have your digital info product, there is one final step to make sure your product has a high perceived value. The Ecommerce Empire Builders community has to know all about offer stacks by now because I’m always talking about them. But in case you’re brand new, this fantastic technique is all about showing the customer everything they’re getting when they buy for you.

For example, are they getting the physical product and also three relevant ebooks? You need to really show that.

Our dropshipping support service creates Offer Stack images that present your “offer” in the most visually appealing way possible. This service is a way for your product to stand out and have a higher perceived value. It will spark that gut check that makes the customer want to buy right now

Take This Full FREE Ecommerce Dropshipping Course on Using Sales Funnels

Welcome back, Empire Builders! This time I have something truly special in store for you. I finally sat down and created an entire ecommerce dropshipping course on using sales funnels to multiply your profits. The FREE video course walks you through every step of the process, and I even gave away the exact sales funnel I used in the course — also completely FREE. I want to make sure this in-depth training reaches and helps as many people as possible, so I’m going to be sharing some of the most important points here, as well. Are you ready to learn how to build out an entire profitable ecommerce subscription sales funnel? Then let’s jump right in!

Niches

The foundation you’ll build your business on is your niche, which is why it’s a key focus in my ecommerce dropshipping course. Your niche is the target market you’ll sell to. The more specific, the better. Going broad theoretically gives you more possible customers, but it also means more competition and less reason for them to pick you. If you go very narrow, your target market will see a product made with them in mind and be drawn to it.

Choose Your Niche

I always recommend time-tested hobby niches because they’re filled with passionate customers, and new ones are always joining. Wikipedia has a great list for reference. Preferably, pick one of your own hobbies. If you have a passion for your niche, it will drive success in your business and motivate you to stick with it. Using Google Trends, verify that your chosen niche is popular (over the 25-point line) and time-tested by viewing that search term over five years.

Validate Your Niche

Search it on Amazon. Make sure there are many different sellers and brands. Too much brand loyalty means less market share for other sellers. Then check some of those seller ranks in the top category to make sure the number is lower than 20,000. Next, Google the niche and search some of those businesses in the Facebook Ad Library to see if they’re profitable enough to advertise. Also, see if there’s YouTube content and social media influencers for your niche. Following them could give you an edge moving forward.

Offer

Screengrab of Peter Pru discussing the importance of digital products

Your offer is the product you’re selling that makes you stand out. You need to give them a reason to buy from you instead of the competition. I recommend bundling physical and digital products, and this ecommerce dropshipping course covers both options. This increases the perceived value and provides a quick win for the customer. In bass fishing, this could be selling lures alongside a PDF on how to use them. In knitting, this might be yarn and a how-to guide for different stitches.

Crafting Your Offer

The best place to start is to sell things people are already buying. Use Amazon to find potential products, and next, use AliExpress to find a good supplier. Then move on to digital products. Again, leverage data from Amazon. Type in your niche and use the department filter to isolate books. See if people are consuming information in the niche and use popular books’ table of contents to see what information they value. Pick a few problem-solving topics to sell information products on. Use the PLR Store to buy the rights to premade digital products on those subjects.

Sales Funnel

Sales funnels are tools that guide customers through each step of the buying process to increase profit and scalability. It uses simplicity to capture attention, build your email list, make sales, upsell, and offer subscriptions. Each of those steps is so important because:

  • Your email list brings in constant value.
  • Funnels create five times the sales.
  • Upsells increase average cart value.
  • Subscriptions increase customer lifetime value.

Building Your Funnel

The funnel I gave away in the ecommerce dropshipping course is prebuilt, and the template is proven to convert, so you just have to customize it. Add quality images, relevant text, and your specific offers. Click Funnels makes it easy to change every element. They also provide you with other powerful tools. You can manage your email marketing right from this account. If someone provides their email but doesn’t buy, starts the process but doesn’t finish checking out, or buys your offer but not your upsells, you can set your account to send out emails for each scenario automatically.

Traffic

Traffic consists of the people visiting your site. This traffic can be paid or organic. Cold traffic is people who know nothing about your brand or product. Warm traffic is people with an interest or a prior relationship like those who find you on Google or consume content you create, and hot traffic is previous customers. Organic traffic tends to be warm traffic, but it takes a lot of time and steady content creation. Paid traffic, on the other hand, gets more immediate results. Paid traffic consists of ads and influencer marketing.

Influencer Advertising

Screengrab of Peter Pru walking through how to evaluate influencers

Influencers are a great way to get your products in front of the right audience. Check out YouTube and see who’s popular in your niche. Check their subscribers and followers on Instagram using IG Blade and make sure they’re growing.

You can approach them about doing a post on Instagram, which tends to be cheaper but also short-lived. Alternatively, send them a product to review, and that video lasts forever. Just approach them with the goal of building a relationship and trust, not just paying for their endorsement, because their audience needs to trust them, as well. That’s why working with them is valuable.

Facebook Advertising

Facebook values user experience above all. They also value profit, for both themselves and for you. If you focus on creating ads that add to the user experience, they’ll want to keep working with you. Facebook ads do bring in traffic quickly, but over time, the results get better. The Pixel they use to gather data from your site will learn about your customers and get better at sending you the best traffic.

How to Create Info Products in 30 Minutes or Less

Empire builders, you already know that you need to present an irresistible offer to your customer to be successful in the dropshipping industry. One way to create an amazing offer is by pairing your physical products with high-quality information products. While I love bundling physical products with information products, producing high-quality info products can be challenging and time-consuming. Whether you’re starting to create info products from scratch or rebranding PLR products, it requires a great deal of time and effort.

However, I’ve recently stumbled across a game-changing tool when it comes to creating fantastic products. Today, I will teach you the most efficient way you can start making these products to use in your own business bundles. Read on to learn how you can rebrand PLR products and create high-quality information products in just minutes.

The Value of Information Products

Having high-quality information products to bundle with your physical products is a game-changer in the dropshipping industry. Not only can you use these products for free giveaways or upsell products, but you can also sell them as stand-alone purchases. I love information products and PLR products. They really add perceived value to every cart. Getting this element right in your business is the key to success.

When talking about PLR products, I am referring to Private Label Rights Products. The cool thing about PLR products is that you can buy the rights to articles, ebooks, graphics, or videos at a low price and simply rebrand the information to make unique information products for your dropshipping business. PLR products are readily available online at stores like THEPLRSTORE.COM. Through buying PLR products, you can create some awesome information products if you are willing to take the time to rebrand the content to make it more engaging for the consumer.

Two Paths for How to Create Info Products

When it comes to creating information products, there are two main routes:

  1. Buying a PLR product from a place like THEPLRSTORE.COM, or
  2. Taking the time to research and write your own information.

Either one is a viable option. You will just need to determine which works best for your specific situation.

At Ecommerce Empire Builders, we love offering information products in the funnels that we build out. To create information products quickly, we used to hire someone on Fiverr or Upwork to create them. However, we’ve recently come across an incredible tool that allows us to create our own high-quality information products in-house. We have found great use out of this paid tool and know you can as well.

Sqribble Will Transform Your Information Products

Showing how to plug in new content in Sqribble templates

The paid tool I have been using to create info products efficiently in the last few months is called Sqribble. You can get Sqribble for around $67, and it is well worth your investment. Through Sqribble, you can simply load in your PLR products and efficiently generate high-quality PDFs or eBooks within a 20- to 30-minute timeframe. This software is so effective and easy to use that you could even start creating and selling eBooks and information products for others. There is really no reason why you can’t create your own high-quality information products today. The benefits of Sqribble are countless as it adds so much value to every eCommerce endeavor.

How to Get Started

Screen grab of exploring the different templates on Sqribble

Let’s say you just purchased a PLR product consisting of a few articles of around 600 words. The ability to purchase PLR products is fantastic. The drawback is that they are often long and dull when you first get your hands on them. What I like to do in this situation is to pick out the bullet points of these PLR product articles and place them in a Sqribble template.

As you create info products, remember that you never want to overwhelm your customer with information. My advice to you is to hand-select the information that you believe will give the customer the most value. Then plug this information into an easily digestible ebook or PDF file.

The Sqribble templates that are available to you have an incredibly high quality. Using one of these templates will allow you to create a high perceived value ebook or information product in as little as 20-30 minutes. There are hundreds of templates for you to utilize on Sqribble. Just find one that fits with the vibe of your business and just start plugging in your information. If you have a brand or color scheme already with your business, then try to find a template that aligns with your scheme. This will help keep everything nice and consistent in your branding.

How Long Should Your Info Products Be?

Along with having a good visual appeal, there are some content guidelines you should try to adhere to as you make your information products, too. Keep in mind that the length of your information product or ebook should vary based on your plans for it.

A good rule of thumb is to stick to around the five-page range when giving the information product as a free bonus item. When you’re going to sell the information product by itself or as an upsell option, aim for the 10-20 page range. Ultimately, using Sqribble has been a game-changer for us here at Ecommerce Empire Builders. I know you can experience the same kind of success with this paid tool, as well.

The Secret Video Ad Tool You Need to Use

As ecommerce entrepreneurs, you know the power behind creating effective ads for your business. But you also know this task is easier said than done. You might be under the illusion that you need to hire professional designers or take expensive classes to learn how to create your own professional-looking video ads. Well, I’m here to tell you that you’re making the process too hard for yourself. This secret video ad tool that I’m about to drop on you will allow you to make good quality, high-converting video ads for your ecommerce businesses. You won’t need any special training or even a strong interest in graphic design.

Read on to learn more about this game-changing tool. Also, learn how you can utilize it to generate more sales in your ecommerce dropshipping business today.

Every Good Ad Requires Research

Before you even begin the process of creating your own video ad campaigns, you need to do your research. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel when making your own ads. Go out and do your research. Examine the ads that competitors are already putting out to see what works and what doesn’t. Don’t make the age-old mistake of leaping before you look. There are many free resources available on the internet today. You just need to understand how to take advantage of these resources and then implement them to work for your business goals.

Screen grab of how to examine competitor ads for good templates

The best place to start your research is on the Facebook Ad Library. Don’t be afraid to research ads that aren’t necessarily in your niche, either. You can draw inspiration from any type of high-converting ad, regardless of niche, and use it to create your own scroll-stopping ads. The best way to create high-converting ads is to draw inspiration from ads that have already proven themselves as top performers. Always take the time to do your research before putting any effort into creating your video ad campaigns.

The Secret Video Ad Tool You Need To Use

After you’ve done your research, it’s time to get to work. You already know that creating successful Facebook campaign ads can be a total nightmare. Trying to create high-quality video ads is especially tricky. Hiring talented video editors or graphic designers can be costly and time-consuming.

Many of you probably haven’t wanted to deal with this headache and have simply tried to create your own ads without having any experience. I also tried this method in my early days as an ecommerce entrepreneur. I know these types of ads never come out looking as clean and crisp as you had envisioned. However, I’ve recently come across a video editing tool that is a complete game-changer. With this tool, anyone can create professional, eye-catching video ads without having any experience in design or video production.

The game-changing video ad tool is called inVideo.io. This tool is like Canva but is specifically geared toward creating high-quality video ads. The best part about inVideo.io is that it is an affordable option that any individual can use simply and effectively. You pay just $10 a month for this video ad tool. It’s well worth the investment, as it will allow you to convert at higher rates with each ad you put out. At the end of the day, this means more money will be in your pocket. Compared to Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, or any other software that you need special training to use efficiently, inVideo.io definitely provides the most bang for your buck.

Every eCommerce Entrepreneur Needs to Utilize inVideo as Their Go-To Video Ad Tool

Screen grab of how to use inVideo

I recommend inVideo.io to any ecommerce entrepreneurs that make their own ads. I don’t love graphic design or video editing, but I love this tool. Here’s why:

Ease of Use

It’s an easy-to-use platform that has allowed me to make professional-looking high-quality video ads that convert. I slept on this tool for a while, but now I can’t recommend it enough. This website provides every user with top-tier templates so they can simply plug in their photos and produce scroll-stopping ads in minutes. Whether you’re looking to run ads on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, inVideo.io has the right template for your needs. Simply put, video ads yield higher results. Investing in inVideo.io will be money well spent for your business.

Access to Great Footage

Another amazing feature of this video ad tool is that it provides access to a ton of high-quality stock videos. This means you can use these stock videos in your own video ad campaigns without needing to worry about licensing issues. Combining high-quality images of your product with the high-quality stock videos provided by inVideo.io will be a game-changer for all of your video ad campaigns from here on out.

If you have a high-quality video of your product, then that’s great. You can use your own video clips and plug them into the professional-looking video templates, too. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter how you create your video ads. The only thing that matters is that they look incredibly high-quality.

Excellent Brand Reputation

Producing high-quality video ads equates to presenting high perceived value to potential customers. When customers perceive your product or offer to have high value, they are much more likely to reach for their credit card. Generally, the first interaction a potential customer has with your business is through an ad. You need to hit this first interaction out of the park, and inVideo.io will set you up with the tools to do just that.

The 17 Dropshipping Secrets You Need to Know

Empire builders, you already know that building a successful ecommerce business takes serious work and continued effort. While hard work is a necessity, I have found some helpful dropshipping hacks throughout my years in the industry. If you want to find success faster, you need to start implementing the seventeen dropshipping secrets that I’m about to lay out in your dropshipping business today.

These secrets will help you achieve more, convert at higher rates, and earn more sales nearly the minute you start implementing them. Read on to learn more about these seventeen dropshipping secrets and how you can start using them for your benefit today.

The Ultimate List of Dropshipping Secrets

Over the last few months, my team and I have been doing a ton of research. We’ve been split-testing funnels, trying to find what works and what doesn’t. We’ve been through the learning curves already and can help you cut yours in half by providing you with our findings. If you don’t start utilizing the seventeen key dropshipping secrets we discovered through our research and testing phases, you are simply leaving money on the table. The following are the top seventeen dropshipping secrets that have proven useful in all of our ecommerce endeavors at Ecommerce Empire Builders.

1. Use Better Background Images

To bring legitimacy to your business and funnel, you need to be using high-quality background images. A few years ago, I would have told you that your funnel’s background doesn’t matter. However, the industry is changing, and you have to adapt your strategies to thrive. Through extensive testing, we have found that high-quality images increase conversions, especially with cold traffic. Implementing high-quality images in your funnels is a simple way to build an emotional connection with your potential customers. You can even use stock photos — just make sure they are copyright-free.

2. Don’t Sell Boring or Mundane Products

If you want to be successful in the dropshipping industry, then you can’t sell boring or mundane products. Your product has to stand out.

You also have to create a reason for a customer to buy from you instead of somebody else.

Remember, you can sell spatulas, but your spatulas have to have an element that separates them from the competition. Whether that’s a cool handle or a cool two-in-one kitchen gadget, you need something that separates your product and makes the customer feel like they just have to have it.

3. Implement an Order Bump

screengrab of a tip for position effective order bumps

Order bumps are a must in the world of funnels. Every one of your funnels should have a pre-purchase upsell available to the customer. Have the offer listed right above the checkout or ‘complete order’ button.

An order bump is simply an easy toss-in item that increases the order value. Think of persuasive offers like expedited shipping or information products when creating your order bumps.

4. Offer Deals and Discounts

Every high-performing funnel has a deal or discount available to the customer. You need to grab the customer’s attention and give them a reason to buy from you. Think about creating offers like “Free Plus Shipping” deals or 50% off discounts.

5. Invest in Testing

If you want to gain traction in the ecommerce industry, then you have to be willing to put a little skin in the game. You need to invest in testing. This means you need to allocate around $250 (or more) to ads on whatever new offer you come up with.

You will use this budget to create split tests and run multiple ads on the same offer for at least a five-day period. This will allow you to test out different audiences and discover where the sweet spot is with the new offer.

6. Have Upsells in Your Funnel

Having upsells in your funnel is a must, no matter what type of software you’re using. Don’t overcomplicate the upsell strategy. If you’re selling fishing lures in your front-end offer, don’t try to sell the customer a fishing rod as the upsell. Offer more fishing lures as the upsell because you already know this is an item that the customer is interested in purchasing.

7. Automate Your Orders

I always see too many people wasting time on fulfilling orders. A simple way to give yourself more time to create better offers and higher converting funnels is to automate your order fulfillment. Always look to outsource parts of your business to give yourself more time to work on the things that really matter. Investing in Dropton or some other way of automating your orders would be a wise investment.

8. Integrate Paypal into Your Funnel

You need to have PayPal or some easy and reputable payment system integrated into your funnel. Having the PayPal logo on your funnel automatically increases your credibility to the customer. Funnelish is a great resource when it comes to integrating PayPal into your funnel.

9. Utilize Funnel Cloning Software

Funnel cloning software is another must-have for every ecommerce business. Super Cloner, a software tool that allows for funnel cloning, helps you find proven funnel templates that work. This is an easy and efficient way to build your own funnel — just start borrowing elements from funnels that have already proven to be successful. You can find a template you like and then put in your own copy, images, and offers.

10. Use the Facebook Ad Library to Your Advantage

screengrab of a tip for how to use Facebook Ad Library

Before you run ads to any of your funnels, make sure to use the Facebook Ad Library to your advantage. Go to the ad library and see what kinds of ads your competition is already running. This will give you a good indication of the types of ads that are already working with your ideal customer. You can also take inspiration from these ads and create your own.

Remember, don’t plagiarize these ads. I recommend reading the book Steal Like an Artist to understand how to properly take inspiration and create your own winning ads.

11. Show Multiple Products in Your Ads

Another great strategy to implement in your ads is showing multiple products in one ad. By this, I mean showing the same product being used by multiple people in the same ad. Creating ads that show friends or family all using the same product creates a reason for your customer to buy multiple units of the same product once they enter your funnel.

12. Show Multiple Products in Your Landing Pages

It will also be to your benefit to show multiple units of the same product on your landing pages. Keep your landing pages congruent with your ads, and give the customer a reason to purchase multiple units.

13. Use the Word “Free”

The word “free” is very powerful in marketing. This word needs to be in your funnel. It doesn’t matter whether you create “Free Plus Shipping” offers or free information products — you just need to have something in your funnel that is FREE to the customer. This will automatically result in higher conversions within your funnels. Check out the book Words That Sell by Richard Bayan to understand all the proven marketing words that lead to higher conversions time and time again.

14. Put Testimonials on Your Order From

Placing customer testimonials on your order forms is a simple way to add legitimacy and quality assurance to your business and products. Highlight other people finding success with your products, and use that as a selling point for other potential customers.

15. Provide Deep Discount Offers

Remember that if you have a high ticket item, you need to offer free shipping or deep discount offers with that product. You need to give customers an incentive to go ahead and purchase that higher ticket item today.

16. Enable HTTPS/SSL on Your Funnel Pages

Dropshipper ensuring that their sales funnel is secure

The best way to make your funnel and ecommerce business be seen as more legitimate is to enable HTTPS/SSL on your funnel pages. If a customer gets a notice that your website is not secure, then there is no way they are going to buy from you. This is a simple switch that will yield big results for your business.

17. Use a Simplified Design Within Your Funnels

The last of our dropshipping secrets that you need to utilize is to have a simplified design within your funnel. Never overwhelm the customer. Tell the customer what they want by providing a simple offer with a simple design. Simplicity will bring high conversions to your ecommerce business.

Free Step-by-Step Dropshipping Business Course: How to Build a $10K/Month Business

Welcome back, empire builders! Today I’ll be giving you a FREE step-by-step dropshipping business course. It’s the perfect guide for going from beginner to $10K/month dropshipping business owner. Let’s get started.

Finding a Niche

The first step in this step-by-step dropshipping business course is zeroing in on a niche. You can’t go wrong picking a hobby niche because they’re full of passionate people who put a lot into their hobbies. Also, they’ve been around for a while and have proven to be stable.

Start by searching “list of hobbies.” Spend some time looking into different ones. Don’t spend too much time on it, though. You can’t pick a bad one, so whichever one interests you will work. If you go with something you don’t like, then your business will feel like a chore, so choose something that you at least somewhat enjoy.

Validate Your Niche

screenshot of analyzing a trend on Google Trends

As an example, I’ll use scrapbooking. Familiarize yourself with your niche a bit. Learn the mechanics of it and the mindset of participants. Some great ways to do that include:

  • Checking Wikipedia
  • Joining Facebook groups
  • Watching YouTube videos
  • Finding relevant influencers

Next, I’ll type “scrapbooking” into Google Trends to find the search volume. You want something with a steady line rather than a large dip in interest. That’s the difference between a trendy fad and an evergreen hobby. If the graph is over the 50 mark and more or less straight over the past year, it’ll work. Then, do some Amazon research to make sure there’s not heavy brand loyalty. Also, make sure there’s a variety of products – both physical and informational – along with many buyers, sellers, and advertising opportunities.

Finding Products

Next, I find potential products. I look for:

  • Frontend Products
  • Two Free Bonus Information Products
  • Two Upsell Products
  • Subscriptions

The Frontend Product

I use Amazon and other tools to see what people are selling. Ecomhunt is a great way to search for products for free. I type in scrapbooking and see what comes up. Immediately I see some metallic markers that came up on Amazon. That probably means they sell well.

Next, I go to AliExpress and search for scrapbooking to see if those same markers come up. They do, so I check the price and compare that to the Amazon price. The profit margin doesn’t need to be huge. I’m not going to overthink it — I’m just going to pick the markers as my frontend product.

Choosing the Right Supplier

Next, I’ll search “metallic markers” on AliExpress to find the best price. I found a supplier that has a better price, good sales, and product variation. I want to validate that they specialize in a similar arts and crafts niche, so I’ll start by checking their feedback ratings. Above four and a half is ideal. Next, I’ll see if they have more products in the niche, so I can use the same supplier. It might take time to find one, but it’s worth it. If you have to use more than one supplier, that’s fine, though.

Upsell Products

screenshot of completing a product offer outline

The marker supplier has two kinds of markers: thin- and thick-tipped. I like to use that kind of variation to upsell since customers are likely to want the second type, too. The next thing I look for is a similar product or an accessory. The supplier has a canvas marker case. It’s perfect for upsell number two.

Free Bonus Information Product

This is a unique step in my step-by-step dropshipping business course, but informational products matter. This will come free with the purchase to sweeten the deal. Google “scrapbooking PLR” (private label rights) to buy the rights to existing information products. I usually use the PLR Store. All you have to do is add better font and some nice images to make it look presentable. I found one right away with 62 pages for only $6. I’ll just use two basic chapters, not the whole PLR. I try to pick sections about the biggest pain points.

Subscription

Subscription offers are great sources of recurring revenue. Look for something that people in your niche will need a steady supply of. In this case, stickers, washi tape, and other supplies are good options. I like to add in some information products, too, so I’ll include page layouts. I aim for at least $24.97 a month, but base your prices on what makes sense for your niche. The goal is a 50% profit margin while doubling the customer’s value. So, if you charge $20 a month, spend $10 or less while providing $40 of value to make the subscription worth it.

Business Essentials in This Step-by-Step Dropshipping Business Course

Now we’ll get into business essentials: your website, funnels, etc. Let’s start at the beginning.

Picking a Domain Name

Using relevant niche terms makes me seem like part of the community and helps people find the site since they’ll likely use similar search terms. I’ll Google “scrapbooking terms” and look for a list or blog post to reference. I like to use fun, hipster names since they seem to perform well. Quickly glancing at the list of scrapbooking terms, I see cropping and cutting, so I’ll use CropAndCut.com. It doesn’t need to take hours. Don’t overthink it.

Google is the best place to buy domains and emails because it’s cheaper and gives you Gmail access. When buying domain emails, Support@YourDomain keeps it simple.

Payment Processor

Once you have your domain and email all set up, you can sign up for Stripe for free. The application process is simple, and it’s the best way for beginners to get started.

Building Your Website

ClickFunnels has templates to build your site quickly and easily. Don’t change the page layouts; just edit the pages with relevant images and text. Use similar Amazon product pages for inspiration. Don’t plagiarize; just take ideas from a few and combine them into original copy. If you want to create a logo, you can do that quickly in Canva, but you don’t need one. For testimonials, use the AliExpress reviews.

The great thing about ClickFunnels is how much you can do. For example, you can send automated emails. If someone opted in but didn’t buy, you can follow up with an email automatically. Also, when someone makes a purchase, they’ll be prompted to add the upsells.

The Bottom Line of This Step-by-Step Dropshipping Business Course

How to Handle Dropshipping Refunds and Chargebacks

It can be a pain to deal with dropshipping refunds, chargebacks, and exchanges. But it doesn’t have to be as painful if you have a process in place. Build out standard operating procedures so your team knows how to handle dropshipping refunds and chargebacks. Follow these steps, and you’ll be able to simplify the process:

  1. Assess the situation.
  2. Address the situation.
  3. Document the situation.

Here we’ll go over each of these steps and show you how you can incorporate them into a consistent, reliable process for dealing with product refunds, exchanges, and chargebacks, which can give you more time to spend on building your dropshipping business. We’ll also provide you with some free template examples for your business that can help you get started.

Assess and Address the Situation

Both assessing and addressing the situation can be lumped together in the same step, as you kind of need to do both at once. While there are multiple issues that can arise, the most common problem you’re likely to come across in ecommerce is how to handle dropshipping refunds.

Does the Customer Want a Refund?

Screengrab of a refund decision tree

If a customer is looking for a refund for a product, make sure you have a return policy that details how refunds work. You should have both a customer-facing policy and an internal policy for how to handle dropshipping refunds step by step. You have some freedom when it comes to how your refund policy works.

When to Give a Full Refund

You could simply give the customer a full refund without question and let them keep the product, which is often the best solution if you want to avoid the potential headache of dealing with angry customers who aren’t worth the effort. Sometimes you may encounter customers who are simply impossible to please, in which case giving them a full refund can help you redirect your time and energy to more important matters.

Give a Refund with a Product Return

While giving a full refund might be easier to do with less expensive products, you could suffer more losses if you give a full refund for a premium-priced product. The best way to keep the customer happy with the refund without hurting your business in the process is to offer a refund in exchange for returning the product to a P.O. box or warehouse.

Incentivize Customers to Avoid the Refund

Giving a full refund might be ideal if a customer is angry and you’re unlikely to change their mind. But there are some instances when you may find that a customer can be persuaded to take back their refund and keep the product. The fact is that oftentimes it isn’t the product that customers are unhappy with when seeking a refund — they’re unhappy with a lack of effective communication

Here is where it’s best to empathize with the customer and understand their situation. If you can make the customer feel understood and provide an offer such as a free information product or discount, then the customer will be more forgiving and be more willing to hang on to their purchase.

Offer a Partial Refund With Incentives

You also have the option of offering a partial refund, along with incentives such as free information products for which you would normally charge, which can help you save more money while working to keep the customer happy with the outcome. For instance, you might offer something like a 35% refund for the inconvenience along with a free resource that would you wouldn’t typically give away. This is likely to leave the customer even more satisfied, considering they get a partial refund, they can keep the product, and they get bonuses on top of that original purchase.

Is the Customer Submitting a Chargeback?

Screen Grab of How to Deal with Chargebacks

Customers may inadvertently charge their credit cards as they forget what they’ve purchased and subscribed to over time. It can be easy to lose track of what you’re buying online. So keep in mind that the occasional customer may submit chargebacks if they forget that they made a purchase and no longer want it.

Unfortunately, many people also take advantage of chargebacks in an attempt to get products for free. So you’ll need to be aware of this potential issue as you develop and implement chargeback processes.

If a chargeback is submitted, you’ll want to assess and address the situation accordingly. Follow these steps:

  • Check to see if the product shipped.
  • Make sure you have the tracking information for the order.
  • Gather all evidence, including tracking, billing, shipping, and email communication that a platform like Stripe or PayPal may request.

If you can submit all the necessary information to support you in the event of a chargeback dispute, the simple truth is that you will win. If you can prove that the product shipped and you can submit all the tracking details, billing information, and email correspondence in an organized PDF or another document that supports your argument, you will likely win a majority of these disputes. You can then recycle that template and use it for future chargebacks.

Document the Situation

You should always maintain proper recordkeeping in any situation, whether it’s for a refund, chargeback, or exchange. Even if you have a good understanding of how to handle dropshipping refunds and chargebacks, people who work with you may not; different customer service teams do things differently. You need to maintain cohesion across your entire company with processes and systems, which good documentation can help achieve.

Use Email Templates

One way to keep customer service consistent, regardless of the situation, is to create email communication templates that employees can use. Send these to your teams, and you’ll be able to provide the same response to customers in similar situations. This will prevent the customer from encountering inconsistencies when communicating with your business.

Create Chargeback Templates

Knowing how to handle dropshipping refunds isn’t enough. You also need to have a plan for chargebacks. To efficiently handle chargeback disputes and make evidence-gathering easier for your team, create chargeback templates as PDFs or other formats that make it easy to organize and present proof of shipping, tracking and billing information, and email communications when attempting to win a dispute.

Record Loom Videos

Business owning creating standard process documentation for refunds and chargebacks

Another way to show your customer support teams precisely what to do in any given situation is to create Loom video recordings. Loom makes it easy to record your screen and voice. You can use them to create helpful in-depth training videos that illustrate various procedures. Your employees can then watch these videos whenever they need to and learn about your processes. Then, you won’t need to walk each new employee through the process.

Template Examples You Can Use

If you want to get some ideas for what to include in the templates to share with customer service teams, then you can implement some of the following.

Here’s an example template that you can use as an initial reply to a customer inquiry:

Hey! So because our [X] ship directly from our overseas factory, shipping can sometimes take a little bit longer! You should have your [X] within the week. Please let me know if you have any other issues!

Thanks!

For a second reply after the customer responds, you can send the following:

Hey, we do apologize greatly for the delay. We had such a large influx of orders that it backed up our factory. If you do not have your [X] in the next 4-5 business days, please let me know. We will issue you a full refund along with getting you your [X] for free.

Thanks!

If the customer is still not satisfied, then you may need to reach out once more. You can send them this third reply:

We just refunded you your full purchase price. Again, we are really sorry about all this confusion. You will still be receiving your [X] — it just may take a few more days. Again, we are hugely sorry about this.

Thanks!

These three simple templates can help you figure out how to handle dropshipping refunds. Even better, the templates help your team consistently communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction.

The Ultimate Dropshipping Case Study: Launching a $100/Day Business Within 5 Days

One common issue among dropshippers is the tendency to overanalyze and overthink the startup process. Oftentimes, people want to get everything perfect before launching their dropshipping business. But it’s important to get something out there as soon as possible to help you grow. In this ultimate dropshipping case study, we’ll look at one business we helped go from nothing to earning around $135 per day within five days.

We’ll also discuss how that success came from launching early, measuring the data, and optimizing accordingly to improve performance. In this article, you’ll learn what takeaways from this ultimate dropshipping case study you can apply to your business to help you flourish.

Day 1

screen grab of the purchasing data from day one in the ultimate dropshipping case study

For one of our clients, we started off on day one of their business with $32.94 worth of sales, which we were able to analyze through the client’s Clickfunnels sales funnel. You can learn more about how to use a five-page sales funnel template, too.

This is the sales funnel process we began with:

1. Squeeze Pages

At the beginning of each sales funnel, the customer is taken to a squeeze page, which is primarily intended to grab the person’s email address. This email address can later be used as an asset to help follow up with promotional emails and remarketing campaigns. Long email lists can help you earn a lot more money in the long run, and your sales funnels will be the key to building them.

2. Order Bumps

It’s also important to give the customer an order bump. This is essentially a small add-on item to the customer’s shopping list that the customer will be willing to add to their order. Having an order bump can further boost the value of each customer order.

3. Upsell Pages

In addition to the squeeze page and the order bump, you can also use upsell pages, or one-time offers (OTOs), to further increase the value of each purchase. Encouraging customers to buy additional items for less is a good way to increase customer satisfaction. For the first OTO, we offered more of the same product. For the second OTO, we offered less of the same product, and the third was a monthly subscription.

A monthly subscription is one of the most powerful assets for your business. If you can get people to commit to a regular subscription, this means regular recurring revenue for you. Whether it’s for a service or a subscription box with different product variations, you can establish consistent income with a good subscription program.

4. Quantity Breaks

Through our client’s Facebook ads, we were able to draw in some cold traffic to our sales funnel. On day one, we attracted two visitors, and the average cart value for the day was $16.47. While one customer chose to buy two of the promoted product, the other customer chose to purchase four. This example alone shows how powerful quantity breaks can be when selling a product. If you clearly show how much customers can save by purchasing two, four, six, eight, or even bigger quantities of a product, they’ll be far more likely to make bigger purchases.

5. What to Keep in Mind About Facebook Ads

When it came to the ad campaigns, we spent around $29.57. So, given the total revenue, we basically broke even for the day. Keep in mind that breaking even on cold traffic is a good thing, as it means that you can essentially get customers for free and, if they’re satisfied, they’re likely to spend more and become repeat customers. Just starting out with Facebook ads, your campaigns won’t be profitable right away. But with enough time, ads can be well worth the investment.

If you can make your average cart value equal to or higher than your cost per purchase, you’re on your way to success.

Day 2

On day two, we made the same as day one at $32.94, with an average cart value of $16.47. In fact, the data in our sales funnel was the same: there were two customers, one buying two of the product and the other buying four.

The ad data revealed that our Facebook ads led to one of the customer acquisitions, and again, we broke even. For just two days, this didn’t look bad to us, so we saw no need to change anything yet. We recommend that you also avoid taking any action with your ads and experimenting until a few days have passed. By waiting, you can get a better idea of how well your efforts are performing and determine where to go from there.

Day 3

On day three, things didn’t go quite as well, with only one customer coming in who made a single purchase of two of the promoted item. The total revenue was $12.97.

At this point, we decided to shut off one ad that wasn’t performing well and launch another. After three days of running our campaigns, we felt this was an appropriate change to make.

Day 4

Day four saw some improvement with a total of $72.88 worth of sales, and an average cart value of $18.22. We drew in four customers. One bought a single unit, while two bought four items, and the fourth bought a quantity of six. None of our upsells had seen any action yet, but it was still a good day.

Again, we spent around $30 on ads, and our new campaign worked well along with the others. And because of the minimal amount of change to our campaign, we were able to see some profits. We can’t stress enough that it’s best to wait until your campaigns have had a chance to work before making changes. If we had made too many changes too soon, we may not have seen these profits.

Day 5

By day five, we had broken $130 dollars. Our total revenue was $135.79, with an average cart value of $27.16. We brought in five customers, one of whom purchased one item. The same day, two customers purchased four items, another two purchased eight, and, perhaps most excitingly, we successfully upsold one!

Compare this to when we were somewhat worried about our upsell page performance on days two through four. If we had made any changes then, we may not have seen this success by day five.

Another positive on day five was that we attracted 21 opt-ins who submitted their email addresses. While only five actually made a purchase, our email campaigns were ready to go and help bring those people back to buy at a later date.

Don’t Underestimate the Power of Quantity Breaks

One of the biggest takeaways in this ultimate dropshipping case study is the importance of quantity breaks. Considering many of our profits came from customers buying two or more of the promoted item, you can see how profitable quantity breaks can be. People want to save as much as possible, so if you can provide quantity break discounts, you’ll ultimately drive more sales.

We would also like to further emphasize the importance of upsells. We may have only seen one on day five, but that means more profit and could lead to future upsells. Don’t be discouraged if your upsells aren’t performing well within the first couple of days. Give them some time like the rest of your campaign.

With these practices, we were able to help our client earn over $135 within a week. Just imagine how your business can perform in the long term if you practice the same strategies from this ultimate dropshipping case study.
